The association
The HELPVETICA association was founded to help people in less privileged parts of the world to catch up with us and our safe, comfortable way of life with good opportunities for everyone. Our focus here is on beneficial help for self-help, especially in education. Since women are still disadvantaged or even excluded in many third-world countries, our focus here is primarily on women and girls. After all, they are usually the ones who hold societies together. You can find out more about our goals and what we do in our blog posts

The Executive Board introduced
The board of our club has known each other for many years. In 2008/2009 we have all worked together already in the squad of the same company and proved to be a harmonizing and successful team. With HELPVETICA we want to prove this once again.

Presidium & Foreign Affairs
Computer scientist, born in 1967, I am an open-minded, life-affirming, inquisitive, pragmatic and helpful person, who gets around the world a lot through his hobbies “traveling & photography” and has noticed that not all countries and people, like us in Europe, have arrived in the 21st century and its advantages yet. I gladly accept the challenge to improve this.

Cash desk & Accounting
I grew up in the idyll of a farm on the Pfnüsel coast in the canton of Zurich. From my own experience I know that minorities always have a harder time achieving their goals or even realizing their wishes. The meaningful support of disadvantaged groups of people is close to my heart. For this reason, I am happy to do voluntary work and it warms my heart and fills one with pride when one is allowed to follow the results.

Law studies at the Universities of Zurich and Bern. Court internship in the Canton of Zurich. Seven years with the Zurich Cantonal Tax Office, five of them as Chief Tax Commissioner. Specialized in the areas of trusts and foundations as a member of the management of a medium-sized trust company in Zurich. For me, supporting disadvantaged people is a humanitarian imperative that must be taken to heart.
